There are moments in our lives when we pass through the "Valley of the Shadows"-a valley that holds many trials, many tears. As Believers, however, we are not alone. God is with us.
"Yea, though I walk through the 'valley of the shadow of death', I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." Psm. 23: 4.
This painting was inspired by events in my family that caused much pain, but the presence of the Lord overshadowed the circumstances in our lives. His promises include keeping an eye on that one 'lost sheep'...the prodigal is not forgotten nor lost.
